Admissions

New Starters to Reception Class

Once you decide you would like a place in the main intake into Reception (we call this the normal round) or at any other time after that, you must make a formal application. You can do this by applying to the Local Authority and not direct to the school.  We are part of the admissions scheme of Devon County Council and details about admissions can be found on the Devon County Council Admission website and your application can easily be completed online through the Devon Citizens Portal. We understand that starting school is a very important milestone in your child's life and offer transition meetings and information sessions to help guide you and your child through the early weeks in reception class. We welcome prospective families to book a tour with our Head of School, Mrs Emma Donne, to look around the school and take the opportunity to ask questions and see us in action. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

More information can be found on the School Admission Website about the admission procedures for schools.
