Our preschool is run by Helen Coombe, who has a wealth of experience in the Early Years, as well as that little bit of magic which make all young children feel safe and secure in her care. The pre-school adjoins our Key Stage 1 class, and pre-schoolers and the reception children spend time playing and learning together, making the transition between pre-school and full time school seamless and stress-free. It means they can transition to more adult-led learning at their own pace when the time is right for each individual child. We have a covered outdoor area, as well as a range of ride-on bikes, trikes and scooters as well as climbing equipment and a garden area. 

Opening Times

We are open from 09:00 until 12:00 on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 9:00 until 3:30 on a Thursday. 

Our sessions are as follows:

09.00 - 12.00  Morning Sessions only on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays

09:00 - 15:30  All day Thursdays

We are closed on Fridays.

Fees

Our charges from the 18th April 2023 are:

3 and 4-year-olds: £4.30 per hour

The closing dates for applications for the Preschool intake are:

26th May 2023 for places in the Autumn Term (September 2023)

20th October 2023 for places in the Spring Term (January 2024)

You can apply after these dates, but your application may not be considered until after all the applications that were on time. If you couldn’t apply before because, for instance, you moved to this area, you should make sure that you inform the school. If the reason for applying after the closing date is accepted, your application will be considered at the same time as everyone who did apply on time if this is still possible.
